The 12 Tripods & Tools I Can’t Live Without!
Let’s be real—when you're creating content, not all gear is created equal. After years of testing (and lugging way too much tech through airports and the trunk of my car), I’ve found the 12 tripods and tools I reach for over and over again. Whether I'm filming Instagram Reels, on Zoom calls, or just trying to stay organized on the go, these little lifesavers have earned a permanent spot in my toolkit.
From a tripod that’s taller than my husband (he’s 6’2”)… to one that fits in my wallet… and even a tent that lets me work outside with no glare (yes, really)—this list has it all.
Ready to peek behind the scenes at my must-haves? Let’s dive into my favorite tripods, tools, and the exact links so you can snag them too!
Oh and let’s start with the post that got this conversation going in the first place ⤵️

2. Flipstick: The Flipstick is a tripod-less tripod that uses NASA-grade nano-suction technology to stick to walls, mirrors, and windows—no setup required. It’s ultra-flat, lightweight, and perfect for hands-free filming in tight spaces (not to mention- SUPER cool)!
3. Suction Cup Griplock Tripod: This magnetic suction tripod grips to almost any surface—even your wall or car dashboard! It’s the one I use in the car for content on the go (and GPS navigation).
4. Computer Tent: This pop-up computer tent lets you work outside without battling glare or overheating. It’s a must-have for sunny days, self-tapes on location, or working remotely in style. I’ve had mine for 6+ years and use it all.the.time!
5. My 🌈 Glasses: So I can see my tripods 😎. Since I started wearing reading glasses about a year ago, I’ve been fully embracing the color coordination life. I love matching my frames to my outfits—they’re basically part of my personality now.
6. Super small MOFT foldable tripod: This tiny but mighty tripod folds completely flat and fits right in my wallet or pocket. It’s perfect for quick content creation on the go—just pop it open, put it on a table/desk and you’re ready to film, no bulky gear required!
7. Reverse Magnetic Selfie Screen Camera: This magnetic selfie screen attaches to your camera so you can finally see yourself while filming with the good camera. No more guessing if you're in frame—it's a game-changer for self-tapes and social media videos!
8. The tripod I always travel with! This tripod is always in my car or backpack when I travel. It folds up super small, has a nice weighted base (great for shooting outdoors) plus I has a cute little remote that
9. Travel Computer ring light: This travel ring light is bright, compact, and perfect for Zoom calls (or even Zoom auditions). I always pack it—it’s one of my go-to tools on the road.
10. My favorite coffee mug 🐮: This cow mug is my absolute favorite - it’s udderly adorable and makes every sip feel like a moo-ment of joy. I don’t shoot videos without coffee… so technically, this mug is part of my content creation kit.
11. The travel ring light I always travel with: This chargeable travel ring light is perfect for on-the-go content creation and self tapes—no outlet needed. Compact, bright, and totally plug-free, it's a must-have for social media on the move!
12. Computer tripod: This adjustable computer stand is a game-changer for Zoom auditions—no more weird angles or stacking books. It’s also super sturdy, and because it folds down compactly, it’s easy to travel with.
Bonus: “The Claw” Tripod – I forgot to include this little powerhouse in the original post! If you look closely at the tallest tripod (#1), you’ll see The Claw hanging on tight. This grippy tripod clamps onto poles, chairs, cars, or anything nearby—perfect for creative setups on the go
